Abstract

Automotive aerodynamics has developed over the past decades and has become an important factor for car models, so many scientific works in this field have been published. When a car moves in the air, aerodynamic forces and moments will affect the car's movement and fuel consumption. The total weight and exterior shape of the vehicle are one of the important factors to improve the vehicle's aerodynamic characteristics. In this article, the author uses Solidwoks flow simulation software to simulate the Suzuki Vitara car. The research results can be applied to evaluate the aerodynamics of cars when designing, converting or making some recommendations in the exploitation and use of cars.
