THE CURRENT SITUATION OF GOVERNMENT'S PUBLIC RELATIONS TOWARDS THE PEOPLE IN VIETNAM TODAY

The article aims to analyze the current situation of public relations between the Government and people in Vietnam, based on the following aspects: providing information to citizens, receiving feedback from citizens, and building and evaluating the Government's image. The research results show that the implementation of the spokesperson regulation and information provision under Decree 09/2017/ND-CP by state administrative agencies in some localities is still inadequate; the reception of feedback from citizens faces many limitations due to the lack of awareness among many state agencies, leading to many consultation activities being merely formal. Based on these findings, the article proposes several solutions to enhance the effectiveness of public relations between the Government and citizens in Vietnam today, ensuring the success of administrative reforms and contributing to the development of a government that is proactive, transparent, decisive in action, and serves the people.
