CALCULATION OF RELIABILITY INDICES AND POWER LOSS OF DISTRIBUTION NETWORKS USING PSS/ADEPT SOFTWARE

Abstract

ABSTRACT

This article presents a combination of measures to improve power supply reliability using automatic devices, remote control devices such as segment disconnectors, reclosers, fault warning devices, using the open-loop power distribution networks. Based on that, the propose some specific measures for the distribution power grid in A Luoi District - Thua Thien Hue. The calculation is performed in the PSS/ADEPT software, the calculation results are analyzed and evaluated to confirm that the applied solutions have brought better power supply reliability, in addition, the solutions also reduce power loss to the power distribution network.
