Abstract

This study employs methods such as questionnaire surveys, data analysis, analytical synthesis, and statistics, combined with data collected from a survey on the use of multi-syllabic Chinese characters by students of the Chinese Language Department at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education and other relevant databases. The goal is to identify and analyze common errors and difficulties in pronouncing and using multisyllabic Chinese characters. This analysis aims to highlight the causes of these errors, assisting learners and instructors in finding effective solutions to address and improve the learning process. Finally, the study proposes directions for teaching and solutions to enhance the effective use of multi-syllabic Chinese characters in learning.
