ABSTRACT

This study evaluates the level of awareness, implementation status, effectiveness, and barriers to the application of generative artificial intelligence (AI) in Vietnamese enterprises. Based on a questionnaire survey of 89 employees working across various industries, the results indicate that 43.8% of respondents possess a basic understanding of generative AI, while only 14.6% are proficient users. Approximately 45.6% of businesses have implemented generative AI, primarily for tasks such as document drafting, marketing, and reporting. Over half of the respondents perceived generative AI to be either significantly or partially effective. However, several barriers remain, including a lack of technical skills, concerns over data security, and challenges in integrating AI into existing workflows.
