Abstract

In the context of increasingly intense competition, maintaining and developing a high-quality workforce has become a strategic priority for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This study aims to identify the factors influencing employees’ organizational commitment within SMEs. Based on data collected from 235 employees working in SMEs and quantitative analyses conducted using SPSS 26, the findings reveal four significant determinants of organizational commitment: (1) Compensation, rewards, and benefits; (2) Organizational culture; (3) Leadership and coworker relationships; and (4) Job flexibility. From these results, the study proposes several managerial implications to enhance employees’ commitment and support SMEs in developing sustainable human resource management strategies.
