Abstract

Domestic and international trade is a foundation to push the exchanging goods in Vietnam’s seaport. In recent years, although the covid-19 has impacted the national and global supply chain management since 2020, the commodity trade activities at seaports have been increasing. The purpose of this study is to explore the potential development of Vietnam’s seaport during the period of 2022-2025 based on the LTS(A,A,A) and LTS(M,M,M) model in the Holt-Winters method of Tableau. The forecasted values are tested by quality metrics, including RMSE, MSE, MAE, and MAPE. The comparable quality metrics between LTS(A,A,A) and LTS(M,M,M) indicate that the quality metrics of the LTS(A,A,A) have a high accuracy level. The empirical results of export goods, import goods, domestic good, and container reveals the prospect growth for exchanging the goods at the seaport.
