Tóm tắt

Abstract: The worship of Saint Tran is a form of folk belief that has a profound impact on the spiritual life and customs of the people in Hai Duong, particularly their local traditions. Throughout history and in the present day, through the Kiep Bac Temple festival and religious practices, the people of Hai Duong have carried on customs influenced directly by this belief. Their devotion is not only motivated by the sentiment of "drinking water and remembering its source" but also by the desire for Saint Tran's blessings and protection for a life of abundance, peace, and happiness. This is expressed through various rituals such as prayers for fertility, selling vows, prayers for peace, and rituals to ward off evil spirits…
