HO CHI MINH’S THOUGHTS ON JOURNALISTIC ETHICS AND ITS APPLICATION IN VIETNAM

Abstract
Abstract: President Ho Chi Minh maximized the role of journalism in revolutionary activities, with a consistent focus on the struggle for national independence, freedom, and the people's happiness. For journalism to serve the country and the people, he required journalists to be responsible, conscientious, and ethical in their profession. This article clarifies Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts on journalistic ethics, analyzes the current state of journalistic ethics in Vietnam, and proposes some solutions to apply his thoughts to improve journalistic ethics in Vietnam.
