Abstract: Buddhism, which originated around the 6th century BCE in India, later spread globally. It emphasizes wisdom as the path to liberation, and education as the way to attain wisdom. Buddhist education guides individuals to moral values and ethical standards through personal cultivation, leading to liberation from suffering. This type of education has brought substantial value to humanity, especially for Buddhists worldwide, by addressing societal issues in practical and comprehensive ways.
