GENERAL VO NGUYEN GIAP’S PERSPECTIVE ON RESOLVING THE DIALECTICAL RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HUMANS AND WEAPONS IN ENHANCING THE ARMY’S COMBAT STRENGTH

Abstract: General Vo Nguyen Giap thoroughly grasped the viewpoints of Marxism–Leninism, Ho Chi Minh’s thought, and the Party’s perspective on the dialectical relationship between humans and weapons in the army’s combat strength. He affirmed that humans play the decisive role while weapons are indispensable. From this, the General pointed out effective methods to resolve this dialectical relationship, thereby enhancing the army’s combat power and contributing to the victory of the Vietnamese national liberation cause. His viewpoints remain valuable today and can be applied and further developed in building the Vietnam People’s Army and safeguarding the Fatherland in the new era.
