Applying precedent in resolving civil disputes

Abstract

Currently, many regulations of the law are still unclear, and there are different ways of understanding and applying them, so the application of case law to the settlement of civil disputes is really necessary. Applying case law in settling civil disputes ensures that cases with similar and similar legal facts and events are resolved equally, thereby contributing to the uniform application of law in Courts, creating transparency in judgments, and ensuring fairness in society.
