Legal frameworks on Central Bank digital currency

Abstract

Eventhough the emergence of many digital currencies has opened new prospects for the global economy, the negative consequences also can be seen. To solve that problem, some nations have given the idea and issued central bank digital currency (CBDC) as China, Sweden... So that Vietnam will not be left behind in the process of currency digitization and international economic integration, the article generalizes about Central Bank digital currency, its formation and development, the implementation situation of several nations as well as gives out lessons for our basic legal framework to deploy digital currency of the Central Bank in Vietnam.
