Criminal law policies on protecting rights of disadvantaged group in society

Abstract

The paper analyzes the concept of disadvantaged group in society and criminal law policies on protecting disadvantaged group in society; sheds light on two major policies in criminal law which are the humane and benevolent policy towards offenders from disadvantaged groups in society and the policy of strictly punishing crimes against people from disadvantaged group in society as well as the expression of these two policies in the current Penal Code. On that basis, the authors propose to continue studying and perfecting criminal law policies on protecting rights of disadvantaged group in society.
