Completing Vietnam's criminal law policy on private data infringement

Abstract

Along with the currently continuous development of science and technology, most personal information and data are stored and updated in the information technology system. This leads to the theft of private data for exploiting information and profiteering, creating losts and having significant impacts on individuals, organizations and society, hindering the process of law enforcement on personal data protection in Vietnam nowsadays. To protect the private rights for personal data from all infringements, researching and perfecting the criminal law policy on personal data infringement so that the law is feasible and come to life is a need in the practice of digital economy today.
