Rights to same-sex marriage - Current situation and recommendations for improving the law in Vietnam today

Abstract

The article focuses on analyzing and clarifying the marriage right for same-sex couples under international and national law. It also assesses the current state of Vietnamese law regarding same-sex marriage, highlighting several shortcomings and legal issues due to the lack of recognition for same-sex marriages. On this basis, the article offers several recommendations for improving the law on same-sex marriage in Vietnam today.
