Regulations on exercising the right to protest to remedy violations when supervising the decision to suspend the resolution of civil cases by the People’s Procuracy

Suspending a case is an important decision, ending the process of seflling the case and in many cases, the litigant does not have the right to re-submit the petitions. If there is a violation in its issuance, this decision will seriously affect the legitimate rights of the litigant, the belief in justice as well as the dignity of the law. Therefore, the process of supervising the decision to suspend the resolution of a civil case requires strictness, objectivity and accuracy. The following article presents the regulations on the implementation of the People’s Procuracy’s right to protest when detecting serious violations in the issuance of the decision to suspend the resolution of a civil case through the civil prosecution process, thereby pointing out some difficulties, inadequacies and proposing recommendations for improvement.
