Abstract

Universal values of humanity, a relatively new topic, have sparked numerous debates among scholars. This article aims to bridge the existing research gap by delving into the universal values of humanity and their impact on Vietnam. The author posits that these values, which the United Nations champions, are Peace, Dignity, Human Rights, Freedom, Equality, Tolerance, Justice, Rule of Law, Democracy, and Social Progress, are deeply embedded in the Vietnamese culture. Therefore, their reinforcement and promotion are crucial to propel the country’s development in the new era, within the global context set by the United Nations.
