Inadequacies in current Vietnamese Enterprise Law on corporate groups and recommendations for improvement

Abstract

The formation of corporate groups is an inevitable trend in countries with market-based and commodity-producing economies, and Vietnam is no exception. Vietnamese Enterprise Law has promptly recognized and regulated issues related to corporate groups. However, since the legal recognition of corporate groups, despite multiple amendments, this Law still contains a number of shortcomings in both theoretical and practical perspectives that need further adjustments.
