The role of the Russian prosecution service in preventing corruption in the private sector

The article analyzes the legal and organizational foundations of preventing corruption in the private sector of the Russian Federation. It examines the provisions of Article 13.3 of the Federal Law “On Combating Corruption,” which imposes on all organizations the obligation to develop and adopt anti-corruption measures. Special attention is given to prosecutorial supervision in monitoring compliance with this requirement. The study demonstrates that prosecutorial inspections help identify shortcomings in anti-corruption mechanisms and encourage companies to establish effective prevention policies tailored to their activities and corruption risk levels. The article also reviews typical violations committed by legal entities and concludes that improving legal awareness among corporate leaders is essential for minimizing risks of liability.
