Improving the efficiency of banking inspection activities in Vietnam

Abstract

Currently, the activities of banking inspection in Vietnam have achieved a number of achievements with a comprehensive legal framework, completing organization and operation with international standards, the efficiency of inspections… However, there are still some shortcomings of legal regulations, the quality of the inspectors and inspection as well. The article concentrates on overview of banking inspection activities, analyzing its current status and giving some recommendations to improve the efficiency of these activities.
