Perfecting criminal laws on evidence from electronic data sources

Abstract

Due to the strongly ongoing fourth Industrial Revolution, the 2015 Criminal Procedure Code has added that electronic data is one of the new sources of evidence and as valid as the others. By studying theoretical and practical matters on electronic evidence, the authors assess current situation of criminal procedure law, thereby propose amendments and supplements to the law on evidence from electronic data sources to ensure human rights, citizen rights and to meet judicial reform requirements.
