System of preventive measures in Vietnamese criminal proceedings from the mid-nineteenth century upto present and development trends

Abstract

The system of preventive measures in criminal proceedings in Vietnam has many changes along with the development of the history of the state and law. The article focuses on analyzing and evaluating the changes of the system of preventive measures in the period from the mid-nineteenth century to the present with two periods before and after the first Vietnamese Criminal Procedure Code was promulgated.
