Treaty shopping – Challenges for invested nations

Abstract

Although treaty shopping has appeared and been studied by many international jurists for a long time, it has received little attention in Vietnam. The article generalizes this phenomenon by building definition, giving characteristics to identify treaty shopping behavior and assessing its impacts on the invested countries, then warn them to pay due attention to this phenomenon to find appropriate measures to prevent and deal with it.
