Obstacles on prosecuting food safety and food hygience offences

Abstract

Recently, law violations on food safety and food hygiene have tended to increase and be complicated that leads to negative impacts on people’s lives and health. However, it has witnessed a low result in the prosecution of that kind of offences under Article 317 of the 2015 Penal Code (amended and supplemented in 2017). Therefore, the article analyzes obstacles on prosecuting these offences first and propose solutions later.
