Limitations, obstacles and recommendations to perfect the crime of manipulation of stock market

Abstract

There has been a complicated development in the activity of manipulation of stock market that adversely affecting the stock market and investors’ interests. Particularly, in 2021, our stock market had many fluctuations. The article clarifies the legal signs of activity specified in Article 211 of the 2015 Penal Code; points out some difficulties, limitations and obstacles, then gives recommendations to improve regulations on this crime in the current Vietnamese Penal Code.
