Prosecution and supervision over the investigation of property appropriation cases under the Criminal Procedure Code

Abstract

Specified in Article 170 of the 2015 Penal Code (amended and supplemented in 2017), the crime of property appropriation includes 2 types of acts: Threatening to use force or other tricks to intimidate other people to obtain property. At the same time, the People’s Procuracy prosecutes and supervises judicial activities in the criminal sector. This article presents the crime of property appropriation and the Prosecutors’ prosecution and supervision in judicial activities during the investigation stage of that crime.
