Comparative research on special investigation measures and experiences for Vietnam

Abstract

Special investigation measures play an important role in detecting and proving crimes. After more than five years of application, this institution in the 2015 Vietnamese Criminal Procedure Code should be reviewed. By comparing with correlative provisions in international law, European law, especially China, Germany and South Australia, the author recommends some advanced provisions on special investigation measures which Vietnamese criminal procedure law should be absorbed.
