Justifiable use of force under Vietnamese criminal law: Some theoretical and practical matters

Abstract

Justifiable use of force is a typical case of exemption from criminal responsibility that often leads to conflicts and complication in reality. Therefore, this article clarifies concept and legal nature of justifiable use of force, assesses the 2015 Penal Code’s provision on this matter to propose some improved recommendations.
