Abstract

The article analyzes the content and methods of the control of state powers of the National Assembly under two aspects: (i) Control of state powers of the National Assembly over state bodies exercising of the executive and judicial powers; and the opposite direction (ii) Control of state powers over the National Assembly. On that basis, the author evaluates the effectiveness of the control of state powers of the National Assembly and proposes a number of suggestive solutions to improve the mechanism of state power control for the National Assembly to meet the requirements of building a Socialist rule-of-law State of Vietnam.
