Development trends of law on cybercrimes in Vietnam’s new development stage

The article analyses the development trends of international criminal law on cybercrimes, comparing the 2001 Budapest Convention on Cybercrime and the 2024 United Nations Convention against Cybercrime, and analyses the development trends of Vietnamese criminal law on cybercrimes. From there, it recommends directions for perfecting the provisions on cybercrimes in Vietnamese criminal law to ensure compatibility with international law and meet the requirements of crime prevention and control in the country's new development stage.
