Abstract
Under the market economy and the requirements of international integration, improving the quality of education through the innovation of teaching methods is an urgent need. The goal of this study is to evaluate the current situation and effectiveness of managing the innovation of teaching methods oriented towards developing students' competencies at lower secondary schools in Ba Che district, Quang Ninh province. The study employs sociological investigation methods at 9 lower secondary, semi-boarding schools with 169 officials including leaders, head teachers, and teachers in Ba Che district, Quang Ninh province. The results of this survey aim to provide a comprehensive assessment of the management of innovating teaching methods oriented towards developing students' competencies in lower secondary, semi-boarding schools in Ba Che district, Quang Ninh province. The principals have directed the organization of plans to innovate teaching methods: implementing training courses, exchanging specialized topics, and launching competitions on innovative teaching methods. The schools have seriously implemented the contents of the general education program, beginning to focus on teaching methods oriented towards the development of learners' competencies. This serves as a basis for proposing measures to innovate teaching methods in the subsequent stages of the research process.
