CURRENT SITUATION OF SOLID WASTES MANAGEMENT OF CRAFTS OF YEN TIEN COMMUNE, Y YEN DISTRICT, NAM DINH PROVINCE

Abstract

The research was conducted to find out the souces of solid waste from handicraft villages, as well as to point out inadequacies of solid waste management in the village of Yen Tien rattan and bamboo, Y Yen district, Nam Dinh province. The research results show that the solid waste management of Yen Tien rattan and bamboo handicraft village is unreasonable, not meeting the environmental demands: no people and transport facilities. Garbage, households collect and transport themselves to public landfill. Garbage is usually handled by household businesses by dumping it into the landfill plus adding it to the ditch, how to burn. Through the research results, propose solutions to enhance waste management work in the bamboo and rattan handicraft village in Yen Tien commune in the future.
