EDUCATION OF TRADITIONAL PATRIOTISM AND REVOLUTION FOR THE YOUNG GENERATION THROUGH A NUMBER OF HISTORICAL SITES IN SOC TRANG PROVINCE

Abstract

The local historical site is a special form of tangible heritage and an important historical source. This is a convincing evidence of the existence of the past, containing many scientific, historical and artistic values. In the scope of this article, by method of field research, fieldwork at monuments and collecting information and documents on local history, the author will introduce typical historical relics in the  Soc Trang province. On that basis, the article will help clarify the role and significance of this relic for the traditional and patriotism education and revolution for local people, especially for the young generation. Since then, the article contributes to propose a few solutions to improve the efficiency of educational activities associated with local historical sites.
