Abstract

The article focuses on analyzing and comparing the impact of the Covid-19 pademic on tourism activities in Hoang Lien National Park, Sa Pa city, Lao Cai province before the Covid-19 epidemic appeared. the period of lockdown (from February to May in 2020) and the period after lockdown (from June to December in 2020). Research results are based on survey results, questionnaire interviews, random interviews. Since the appearance of the Covid-19 epidemic, people's lives have been greatly affected by the pandemic when airports and borders were closed, social distancing was applied in the country, and domestic visitors were also limited. The  number of tourists decreased by 76% compared to 2019 in which there are no international tourists using flights to visit Sa Pa resorts, the number of domestic tourists is gradually increasing.  from July 2020. People's income during the Covid - 19 period was very badly affected, service groups almost had no income, only groups of people staying, selling food and selling souvenirs had very small income. Up to 12/2020  now, the average income of people has been about 35% - 45% compared to previous years.
