SOME PROVISIONS OF THE RIGHTS TO A FAIR TRIAL IN THE VIETNAMESE LEGAL SYSTEM

The right to a fair trial is one of the basic and universal human rights, enshrined in many international documents. Vietnamese Communist Party and State are always interested in ensuring human rights, including the right to a fair trial. The legal provisions on the right to a fair trial have been fully recognized in the Vietnamese Constitution and some important laws of the country. The article introduces some provisions on the right to a fair trial in the Vietnamese legal system. These regulations both contain the progressive points of international laws and are creative to suit domestic realities. The article mainly uses the synthesis method to systematize the legal provisions on the right to a fair trial by groups. Research results help people better understand the importance of the right to a fair trial and recognize the relentless efforts of the state apparatus in protecting human rights. It is obvious that when a fair trial is guaranteed, other human rights are also guaranteed and respected, and vice versa. Ensuring the right to a fair trial for individuals is to protect the supremacy of the Constitution and the law.
