Abstract

In the context of the industry 4.0 revolution, the application of technology in education is increasingly necessary and effective. With a focus on "force," one of the fundamental quantities in Physics, it has been used consistently from the middle school science curriculum to high school Physics, demonstrating the importance of measuring force magnitude. This article presents the results of research on the design and fabrication process of force sensors connected to smartphones for application in teaching Physics. The device is made from low-cost electronic components, easily purchased through online commerce platforms, while ensuring it meets the objectives of force measurement. The research results can be applied to teaching topics in dynamics and statics, such as measuring force magnitude, recording measurement results in numerical form, plotting graphs over time, and wirelessly connecting to smartphones to enable teachers and students to conduct experiments and present their experimental results in class.
