Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify behavioral manifestations of technological competence that align with the requirements of primary school education, serving as a foundation for proposing measures to support teachers in organizing learning activities aimed at fostering technological capabilities in students through the teaching of STEAM technology topics in Grade 3. To achieve this objective, a secondary document analysis method was employed. Specifically, 22 research studies from global and Vietnamese scholars on capacity, technological competence, STEAM education, and the teaching of Technology in elementary schools were utilized. As a result, three measures consistent with the research goals have been proposed. These measures aim to support teachers in organizing learning activities in the 3rd grade Technology subject, with the intent of developing students' technological competence, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of the subject's instruction and fulfilling the requirements of the 2018 General Education Program (GDPT 2018).
