Abstract

In the context of fundamental and comprehensive innovation of Vietnamese higher education, improving the quality of teaching Ho Chi Minh’s Thought plays a particularly important role. The article focuses on the effective coordination between group discussion methods and other active teaching methods in teaching Ho Chi Minh Thought at universities. Through the method of theoretical analysis combined with the proposal of practical examples, the study analyzed the theoretical basis, assessed the advantages and limitations of the methods, proposed effective coordination methods, and built specific examples for a number of topics in the subject. The purpose of the study is to improve the quality of teaching and learning, develop critical thinking skills, problem solving and teamwork for students, and contribute to the process of innovation of Vietnamese higher education. The research results provide a theoretical and practical framework for effectively applying and coordinating active teaching methods, contributing to training future generations of citizens capable of applying Ho Chi Minh's thoughts into practice, meeting the development requirements of the country in the period of international integration.
