APPLICATION OF DESIGN THINKING IN USER EXPERIENCE (UX) DESIGN PRACTICE

Abstract
This research aims to combine and apply design thinking in the practice and teaching of user experience (UX) design. The paper has conducted practical experiments applying design thinking to the UX design process by implementing relevant theories, gathering data through interviews, and developing customer personas and journey maps. The study's findings will help refine the process of integrating design thinking into UX design teaching practices in higher education, providing a foundation for broader implementation in schools across Ho Chi Minh City and nationwide. The application of "design thinking" systematically and comprehensively addresses problems, resulting in high work efficiency. The research opens opportunities to improve the quality of UX design education, helping students develop creative design thinking and effective user experience design skills.
