CURRENT STATUS OF ORGANIZING PROJECT-BASED LEARNING FOR 5-6-YEAR-OLD CHILDREN IN SOME NURSING SCHOOLS IN TUYEN QUANG CITY, TUYEN QUANG PROVINCE

In order to organize project-based learning to become an effective teaching model, scientists have conducted many research works on the methods, content, and forms of organizing this activity at all levels of education, including preschool education. When studying project-based learning organization, in addition to studying the theoretical system, it is also necessary to have more in-depth research on the current situation of the organization. This study conducted a survey of 282 subjects including 190 5-6 year old preschool children; 50 preschool teachers; 30 managers; 12 experts in the field of preschool education, belonging to preschool education institutions and higher education institutions in Tuyen Quang city. Theoretical and practical research methods were used to study and survey. The results of the current status of project-based learning organization skills for 5-6 year old children of preschool teachers reached the level of Fair. In which, the skills of completing the project achieved higher results than the skills of preparing/starting the project and implementing/developing the project. The results achieved by children were at the level of Average. In which, knowledge and skills were ranked lower than attitudes. The research results partly reflected the practical skills of preschool teachers and the results achieved by children in the process of organizing project-based learning in the surveyed area.
