Abstract
This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the elective Physical Education program for students at the University of Economics and Business Administration - Thai Nguyen University. To conduct the research, various scientific methods were applied, including surveys, interviews, pedagogical observations, and statistical analysis. These methods provided a comprehensive assessment of the program's impact on students' physical fitness, academic performance, and overall health. By analyzing students' learning needs and preferences in Physical Education, the study developed a flexible program that allows students to select activities and training content that best suit their strengths, interests, and physical capabilities. This approach helps students take a more active role in their learning process, fostering motivation and enthusiasm for physical training. Furthermore, the program encourages the development of long-term healthy habits, which are essential for maintaining physical well-being. The research results indicate that the elective Physical Education program effectively meets students' training needs. Not only does it help improve physical fitness, but it also plays a crucial role in enhancing academic performance by fostering discipline, perseverance, and a balanced lifestyle. Additionally, the program contributes to stress reduction, increases participation in physical activities, and improves students' overall health.
