Abstract

Educating students on the qualities of responsibility and the desire to contribute is a topic that Thai Nguyen University of Education is interested in implementing. To answer the question of how effective this content is through volunteer activities and what lessons can be learned, we conducted a study using theoretical research methods, using observation tools, questionnaire surveys, interviews, and statistics, synthesis, analysis, and comparison methods. Within the scope of the article, the authors clarified the theory of the research problem, studied the current situation, and determined the effectiveness of educating students on the qualities of responsibility and the desire to contribute through volunteer activities. On that basis, we drew lessons, recognized the difficulties and shortcomings, and proposed necessary solutions to improve the effectiveness of educating students on the qualities of responsibility and the desire to contribute through volunteer activities. The research results can be useful information for educating the qualities of responsibility and dedication for students at pedagogical universities with similar conditions and characteristics.
