MODEL OF VIETSKYPE PROJECT AT THE SCHOOL OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES - THAI NGUYEN UNIVERSITY

Abstract

This article will introduce the model of VietSkype project, English conversations with volunteers from English speaking countries through Skype, has been successfully applied in the School of Foreign Languages. The article shows the benefits of using Skype, thereby suggesting the model of VietSkype to develop students’ oral communication in the context of teaching in Vietnam, especially at institutions of higher education. This article also presents the experimental model of VietSkype at the School of Foreign Languages - Thai Nguyen University and initial evaluation of the effectiveness of this model.
