FACTORS AFFECTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF NUI COC LAKE TOURISM

Abstract

Nui Coc Lake tourist site in Thai Nguyen province has potentials for tourism development but has not yet achieved to its prospects. This study has investigated 200 tourists with empirical analysis to find whether eight factors affecting the development of Nui Coc Lake tourism, including landscape,  infrastructure, transportation, services, hotels and motels, social safety, tour guide and price of services. The regression results suggest five major solutions to develop Nui Coc Lake tourism, including improve and create more landscapes; enhance infrastructure; increase both quality and quantity of transportation; diversify services and upgrade their quality; improve hotel and motel quality.
