Abstract

The study aimed to determine the effect of water regime (continuously flooded - CF and water saving - WS) to available P in rice fields. The study was done in 2016 on Eutric Fluvisols at Van Hoang commune, Phu Xuyen district, Ha Noi. While WS clearly affects on the Eh, it did not influence to the pH of the soil and, reduces the available phosphorus content… WS is decreased available phosphorus at the drainage stage, while the available phosphorus content always increased in the regime of CF. However, before the end of the experiment, the available concentration of P in the WS (7.56 mg/100 gr soil) was equal to the available concentration of P in the CF (7.94 mg/100 gr of soil).
