EFFECT OF USING SOME FEATURES OF THE MOODLE SOFTWARE IN PHYSICS AND BIOPHYSICS TEACHING FOR NURSING STUDENTS
Abstract
Objectives: Evaluate the effectiveness of active teaching methods of Physics - Biophysics module on Moodle software for first year nursing students and propose some solutions to improve the effectiveness of teaching Physics-Biophysics subjects. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study, combined with qualitative and quantitative study method. Results: The overall rate of students satisfied with learning materials was 76.1%; about supporting interaction between lecturers and students accounted for 80.3%. Feedback of students on the effectiveness of the pre-class exam preparation achieved a satisfactory rate of 77.5%; The effectiveness of group discussion reached the satisfaction rate of 81.7%. The effectiveness of Moodle software in learning reaches a general satisfaction rate of 76.1%. Conclusion: There is a need to increase the discussion and interaction between lecturers and students both in the classroom and on the school's elearning system; Teachers need to enhance the application of positive teaching methods, to enhance the form of learning on the Elearning system.
