FOUR NEW DISTRIBUTIONAL RECORDS OF THE FAMILY RHACOPHORIDAE HOFFMAN, 1932 IN XUAN SON NATIONAL PARK, PHU THO PROVINCE

Abstract

Five field surveys were conducted in Xuan Son National Park, Phu Tho Province from November 2018 to July 2019. Thirty-two specimens were collected and identified to ten species belonging to six genera of the family Rhacophoridae, in which the genus Rhacophorus is the most diverse. The study showed the new distributional records of four species, namely Kurixalus bisacculus, Rhacophorus kio, R. rhodopus, and Zhangixalus smaragdinus for Xuan Son National Park. In addition, morphological characteristics of four species is also provided based on the specimens in Xuan Son National Park, Phu Tho Province.
