Abstract

Movement games play an important role in the mental and physical development of primary school students. By applying routine study methods in sport, the article identified 20 movement games aimed at physical development for first-grade primary school students. Real experimental results proved that after one experimental year, the students’ fitness assessment indexes had a statistically significant difference, showing the table in the probability threshold P <0.05 in all sub-tests on both male and female students. Thus, the fitness level of the experimental group increased positively and was much higher than the control group, especially the students in the experimental group who loved the selected movement games.
