PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF FARM ECONOMY IN BA CHE DISTRICT, QUANG NINH PROVINCE

Abstract

Farm economy is considered an advanced form of economic organization; and the development of farm economy is an inevitable and popular step of the agricultural production over the world. Recently, the farm economy in Ba Che district, Quang Ninh province has been gradually formed and developed, but has not yet met the actual and potential needs of the locality. The research aimed to assess the current situation of developing farm models in Ba Che district through data collection, comparison and accounting of production costs, descriptive statistics. The results showed that although many farms were granted certificates of farming and supported according to the mechanisms and policies of the district and province, they were operated ineffectively and confused in the management, organization of production, business and searching for markets. There remained many problems that need improvement, including the low level of farm owners' education and technical expertise, lack of capital for production and business accounted for a large proportion (60% of the total number of farms in the district), difficulty in consuming farm products (80%), lack of science and technology (60%), lack of information about the market economy... From the above situation, some suitable solutions were given to promote the development of farm economy in the district in the following time.
